ALREADY...this year is slipping...

thru our fingers...

...thus you have my first post of 2009...goodness it is late late late...

Kevin left today...for the first leg of his Iraq journey...last message he texted was about an hour ago..that he was passing thru kentucky..(they are heading to florida by bus...)

he will be coming home in feb...for about a week...then off to texas and then straight to iraq...

i did get a bit of art done....

this is the cover to a book...that was sent as a get well card...



...and here is a necklace i made..using fresh water pearls and a dichronic cross and vintage bright pink crystals...





Maxx got his hair cut today...and i have pictures to share..but need to download them...

tommorrow he turns TWO!!!!! having a family party here...chili and cake..(maddy made a banana cake..)

seems such a short time ago that he was born!!!! (heck the same with maddy!!!)

time DOES fly!

I got my art table totally cleaned and organized...!!!! MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT! and now this week they are forcasting way below zero temps...so go figure i won't be working down there..as it is unheated...positive note...it WILL STAY CLEAN AND ORGANIZED!

    happy new year dear! its supposed to get very cold here this week too. probably colder where you are though. we're supposed to hit single digits. I hate winter!!

    Darling Barb...the card/book cover are absolutely GORGEOUS! But so are the necklace and junque bracelets shown in the photos below. AND the pocket fairy handbag is delicious! How big is it? Is it all fabric? Is it for sale? LOL

    I am so gald to see that you are having some creative time!! The card/book cover is fabulous!!! Now that you are done organizing and clenaing your space you can come and finish mine! Bring Maxx and Maddy we have a spare bedroom and it is warmer here!! LOL!!! Don't I wish that I could have you fro a visit!!
