IN LACEY, WA! having a GREAT TIME!!! Only been here two days and i've seen sooo much! Yesterday went into Olympia and visited an antique shop...(going back tommorrow to the farmers mkt...
Today we went into Seattle..to pike's place market...did my picture like tom hanks did in the sleepless in seattle movie...in the scene..."so how's my butt"...lol..i'm sooo bad...and also went to kiss (well got "close) the brass pig...in front of the market...lol...my brother said it would make for a cute "no SWINE flu danger here" scrapbook page...lol
then he took me to SHIPWRECK BEADS!!! www.shipwreckbeads.com has anyone heard of this place? OMG!!! OVER 500,000,000 PLUS BEADS! the store was HUGE...i have pictures but won't be able to post them til i get home next week...go check out their site...OMG...i've never seen so many beads and all the trappings to go with them!!! wow...WOW!
Then on the way home we passed a little coffee shop...(lol..go figure it's SEATTLE!) but this one was like a tiny drive thru shop in a parking lot...it was called BIKINI BARISTAS!!! so you KNOW we had to go have a look see...lol...yep yep...she was wearing a bikini...(well no...it was a BRA...(got pics there too..lol...) my son said he would start drinking coffee if we had one close to us..lol....
Well Saturday we are going to the ocean!

I remember those little coofee drive thrus all over WA!! Remember Fotomats??? That is what they remind me of , and the coffee is so much better than starbucks!!!! I ws wondering if you were going to go to SHipwreck Beads!! You lucky Dog!! Can't wait to see pics!!! Have a blast at the ocean- prep for chilly- look for sea glass!! have a blast!!! You SOOOO Deserve it!!

I want to visit Shipwreck Beads! Pike's Place is a close second...there was a fantastic bagel place nearby when I was there a couple years back. Mmmmm... :)

We have drive through coffee places here (even a starbucks drive through), but they don't wear bikini's - thank G-D!! I'm glad you are having fun though! I'm jealous a bit because I live closer to WA and have never been. Maybe next time you go we can plan it before hand and meet up there! That would be sooooo awesome!
Oh, and I LOVE, LOVE the package you sent, sweet girl!! When did I tell you that I had one of those dolls when I was a kid???!!! Or are you psychic??!!! I love it and the bird riding skeleton too!! And of course the card (totally made me cry, darn-it!!) with Maddy's amazing fairy and Maxx's sweet hand print!! I am such a lucky Granny Tam - and I didn't even have to go through the birth process!! Heh Heh!
