has recovered...for the record...it was just a little cyst...and after surgery they gave him a script for percoset...and we never filled it...as he had no pain whatsoever...nil...

IT'S TUESDAY!

Got up this morning to take david to the hospital for his "procedure"...of course heres david going ....geez in the old days..the dr. would have just popped it out in the office...(insert...ar ar ar..manly grunt tough guy...(he had a cyst on his left hand base of his thumb that had grown to the size of a marble)



so off to the speciali$t we went...(david thought they would just take it out in HIS office...lol)ah no...you have to go to the hospital for this procedure... (DAVID HAS NEVER BEEN IN A HOSPITAL FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT TO VISIT) so..fast forward to today....

got to the ho$pital...and they had him don his new gown..er ah I mean MAN gown...
"you are just taking these pics so you can ALTER them somehow...aren't you? he said.
NO WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU THINK THAT DEAR?



aw look, honey, they have a matching HAT...does that make it an "outfit"?
(sidenote.."men don't wear "outfits".." he says when we get an outfit for maxx..)



FUNNY....HON...



DR. hand surgeon guy came in to "autograph" where he was going to do his ART...(yep the price just went up...)



During the procedure...they had put me into the waiting room...hmmm cappucino machine and baskets of munchies...help myself...

I just know there was a camera documenting what i had for billing purposes...hee hee...
they came out is like 30 min to tell me he was done...so i went back to see him and there he was drinkin a diet pepsi...


then they told me to go get the car and drive it up to the door...(which amounted to 10ft...from parking spot to door) they wheeled him out in the limo...


we got home and Maxx was told to supervise his recovery...


maxx himself was on the mend from HIS injury (he skinned his knew for the first time) from yesterday...first day wearing shorts in the 70 degree weather.....

maxx's skinned knee...he didn't know what to make of it he wanted to cry...but just buried his head in mommy's shoulder...then was fine..no tears...


We had an ENCHANTED sleepover this last weekend... read the book, watched the movie, ate royal treats, donned nonnies tiara from karla...



I finished my spring journal for my partner Vanessa...she loves butterflies as her name means butterflies and loves victorian things...i used some real butterfly wings that i've had...and delicately gel mediumed them to make them strong...and i added her name as the body of the butterfly! the V in vanessa worked perfectly for antennae!!!!



well in signing off and sending out my HUGZ...i leave you with that whole..."no honey i PROMISE i won't alter your pictures...geez that new phone of mine...does lots!

was sick all afternoon yesterday...came on like a brick wall...awful! today i'm doing well...listed my baby shoe and planter on ebay

they got the guy that robbed danielle...tired now...time for bed...

yesterday we had a glorious 74 degrees! today has begun at 54! although...this afternoon it will drop to 40...never know how to dress when you get up!
Sent off my little bunny to Kecia! Hope she likes her! I have been saving this piece of german mohair and early rachel ashwell shabby fabric for just the right project! I also found this vintage bunny story book...i attached the bunny to the book with waxen linen thread (so bunny can be removed or repositioned...) I mounted the book with the floral embellishments into an antique frame...i left the original hanger on the back for esthetics!

Good morning everyone!
The sun is shining and all is well! After a couple of days that art was just not happening...today is an artfest of multitude projects!!!! David has school all day so i'm going to create the day away!

and it has been an enormously busy week...i've barely had time to think...but less blog...i had a bit of time to do a new banner in a quiet moment...

...yesterday was the big rummage at the high school...it was soooooooooooo busy all day that we didn't get to leave our booths...i spent a TOTAL...of
$3.00! I got to see all the goodies walk by...IN OTHER PEOPLE'S HANDS...the next big sale is first weekend in may...of which I will be a walker byer with all the goodies...lol...

Then this morning...the phone shattered our sleep..at 6:30...my hubby took the call and all i could hear him saying was like "are you okay..." "did you call damien"...then i knew it was my youngest...daughter...she was robbed again...she had asked a guy for id to purchase cigarettes...and he showed her an id she did not recognize...said STATE OFFENDER across the top...she asked him if she could take the next lady in line..who wanted to purchase 6.00 worth of gas...she rang her up and the guy jumped the counter and shoved her backward and grabbed the cash from the drawer...he was angry because she questioned his id...there were 4 people in the store..(1:30 am.) and NONE OF THEM stayed around to give their statements....two were drunk and underage...so they were worried about that...the lady with the gas..went out and pumped her gas and left without finishing...(.93 short) she did show up an hour later...NOT TO GIVE A STATEMENT but to get her gas...that she didn't get...she gave a general statement...the fourth guy was in the bathroom and didn't see anything...

they do have a crystal clear pic of the guy and the whole incident...on tape...

she came by today and seems to be doing good...for the circumstances...she thinks that he was just angered and that he went home and realized just what he had done...the police said they had never heard of this type of id...for wisconsin...she got his birthdate from the id but it all came down so fast that she never got his name.

they got his fingerprints and a full footprint from the counter...

day three of it actually feeling like spring! We have our local school rummage this next saturday and the garage is filling up with goodies to go....woo hooo...so happy to be passing on treasures...to others!

I finished the baby fairy shoe.... i ended up putting in a pincushion into the body of the shoe and covering it with the softest pale pink fabric! Thinking this could be used for a display for pretty hatpins...(some of mine are trying it out in the pictures!) or this could be for a baby princess nursery for diaper pins...(heck even if you use disposables! lol) or just for that pink sewing room for regular pins!!! I added some soft pink silk leaves for wings and covered the underneath part of the leaves with pink matte and irridescient glitter...and i rimmed the top of the shoe with the same glitter...but there was that space around the pincushion that was just a void that i wanted to fill! so i filled the space with over 50 vintage glass rhinestones! some as big as 3/8"! very sparkly and regal! i also added some rhinestones to the back of the fairy and to her tiara!...the shoe is laced with vintage pink seam binding and i added some pink roses also embellished with rhinestones!

Maxx hasn't had any real experience with doggies...except his fluffy stuffed ones...
Maxx thought the puppy was sooo funny...
