RUMMAGE...S

started out the morning at a huge rummage, multiple homes...the first house we went to...was vintagey BLISSFUL!

..unique rosary prayer bracelet...

sweet little dolly clothes from the 40's...they need a bit of freshening..(will make an adorable valance on a clothesline above the window)...some tiny little bottles...the EVENING IN PARIS bottle will most certainly become a pendant...of sorts...the others fairy bottles or secret message and or potion bottles...

cute little ice skates pin...(was made by the lady's grandma...how could she sell this?...although I'd like to think that she has a drawer FULL of them...and wanted to share the memory...) thinking these will look cute on a pair of FULL SIZE skates!
for embellishment!

softest aged embroidered baby clothes...

heavy crystal bottle stopper...vintagey pocket dictionary...nicely aged pages...

hand crocheted sheet insert and pink edge...oh thinking a new set of pillows...or sink or toilet skirt... (does anyone else dress their toilet? lol

a set of vintage wedding figurines...

a handfull of flower scatter pins and earrings..

lots more to photo.....some orphan crystal earrings...a collection of antique fire dept uniform brass buttons...a set of milk glass candle sticks..

...tried to talk david into buying an antique drop leaf dining table...but he said it needed too much work...and yes it probably did...(he's thinking about it...lol) the table was at a home (someone we KNOW...) and since it is priced at ...ready...$5.00...THINKING REALLY HARD TO SEE HOW IT COULD WORK...would look really perfect painted out in white...it is stable enough to hold it's weight...but has a cracked base...would need drilling and strengthening...maybe it is alot of work...
we will see.....

SOCK MONKEY UPDATE...

remember from a previous post..about the monkey I made..that even at an inch and a half was too big?

Here is the former one and the new one i made to fit...he is an inch tall...

The next step I did with him was to add some papers to a vintage pocket watch...

OUTSIDE...

AND THE INSIDE...

still have paint to add to the rim...and a glass beaded necklace...hanger...but that is the progress thus far!

keep the comments coming..they all count in the GIVEAWAY!!!

150 FAMILY FLEA MARKET TOMORROW MORNING...at 8:00...picking debbie up at 7:30...it's a good one...annual sale...

hugz til next time!!!
