we could be on the receiving end of some weather in a bit...sky is getting dark ready to throw a temper tantrum!

Just got back from the kidlets dentist appointments...they played a bit in the lobby...no, wait...i stand corrected...



maddy RELAXED...in the waiting room...(she leads such a stressful life...) ((and she LOVES to come to the dentist...))

Maxx on the other hand...is ALWAYS intrigued by the wire maze thingy with the beads attached...





now we HAD one of these at home...and he NEVER touched it...guess it's just that much more SPECIAL...at the dentist office!!!

Both kidlets had WONDERFUL checkups...



as you can see!!!

have decided where to put my "arms"..in my studio...just wait til you see what i've come up with...hee hee...(hope it works!!!)

Great start to the week....SUN IS SHINING...BREEZES ARE GENTLY BLOWING....IT'S 75 DEGREES...AND...

went to the flea market this morning...and did our first sweep thru...(this isn't a big flea market..just locals..selling their fun stuff) and got a couple of things...i got a train case for a dollar...(will be perfect for a stash of something...lol...THEN THE SECOND SWEEP THRU...there laying in a bucket..were these!!!




oh what a happy camper am I!!!



...the guy wasn't going to put them out...said they were too weird..lol...wife said they were vintage..french manniquin parts...AND she has an intact full one at home!!! that she was considering parting with...gave her my name and number just in case...

wonder what this "extra pair of arms" set me back? Do ya really want to know? hmmmm...FIFTY CENTS EACH!!! i'm going to wrap some wire around the connector discs and they will hang really perfect!!!

We dvr'd the disney movie, PRINCESS PROTECTION PROGRAM...from the other nite...and when the movie opens...they show...an alligator...(to which maxx responded..."allimagator!!" then they showed an Egret...(to which maxx responded "BIG BIRDIE!!" then they showed a turtle...(to which maxx responded, "turtle!!")

NOW YOU MAY BE WONDERING WHERE THIS IS GOING...WELL HERE YA GO...

then they showed a closeup of a dragonfly...to which maxx responded..."look, nonnie, a....a....a....FAIRY!!!"...THAT'S MY BOY!!! hee hee

of course the "other" baby...went swimming with his friends yesterday...(has he ever heard of SUNSCREEN???!!!!) OH THE MOANING GOING ON TODAY...AND THE BLUE GOO HE'S GONE THRU...(aloe vera) ((at 20 years old...ya think he'd know by now...after all the years of the sunburn sunscreen talks...)) UGH!!!



don't ya just want to pat him on the back??????

... been in the 90's...with bright blue skies...hot hot hot...
got the living and dining room painted...looks really nice...we cleaned the floor in the dining room with some new product and then put a coat of shine on it and despite the icky dark marks from when the previous...fish tank leaked all over...it doesn't look bad...so onto the living room floor with the same!!!

Made three diaper cakes...

Also created a little floral display for a friend of my mom's...



i had to handsew the kitty because the presserfoot of my sewing machine was missing in action...(has been found...only after putting out an apb (all presserfoot bulletin) on it...)

sweet little robin perched for a picture on the garage roof...thinking he was impressed with the clean up we've made since moving in...he looked almost animated sitting up there...(sorry for the not so clear picture..but had to take it thru the window so i wouldn't scare him...)



We had HUGE storms roll thru here last nite..we got 5+ inches of rain in little over an hour...floods everyplace...

It is so humid today, that when Shannon bought some cotton candy it literally melted off the stick...(looks like glitter in the sun!)

thus far we have painted 8 rooms...still have 7 to go...plus...so much more...
